Having honed my communication skills as Head of Communications for both the Royal Bafokeng Nation (RBN) and the Free State Department of Public Works and Rural Development, I was subsequently appointed as Communications and Marketing Manager at Rhodes University. Our dedicated focus on the University’s RU120 celebration year resulted in a first-ever MACE (Marketing, Advancement, and Communication in Education) award for Rhodes University. These skills provided the foundation for my role as Assistant Director of Internal Communications at the University of the Free State (UFS).
